After talking about wire ropes in a previous post, today we would like to write about stainless steel terminals.
What are the stainless steel terminals?
But what is the terminal? As its name suggests, the terminal is an accessory in which the cable ends. Always in AISI 316 stainless steel. There are different forms with different coupling systems. We are adding to our range some new items, in addition to the already present terminals. Here you are given below.
- Swage jaw terminal with external thread (right – left) in:
- a turnbuckle body
- another fastening element with internal thread
- any female threaded hole
- Swage jaw terminal with internal thread (right – left):
- a swage stud terminal with external threaded pin
- any male threaded pin
The different types of coupling.
As said previously, there are terminals with different coupling systems.
- Pelican hook: one is just the pelican hook. It is suitable for the guardrail wires. Just where can be necessary to unhook them.
- Swage stud terminal, left or right thread: in addition to the pelican hook, we can also find those with left or right thread. They prevent loosening of the rope during assembly.
- Mini-swage stud with internal right or left thread: it ideals for architecture and interior design..
- Dome head terminal: a simple compression terminal.
- Screw terminal for self assembling: suitable when we want to remove the cable from the terminal.
