Today, at the Bay of Cannes, begins the Yachting Festival, one of the most prestigious yachting world events since 1977. From Tuesday 11 to Sunday 16 September 2018, visitors will discover the novelties of this 41° Edition.
The 2017 Yachting Festival in figures.
Last year, the Yachting Festival has hosted more than 50,000 visitors, nearly half from abroad. And 528 exhibitors from around the world. The past edition, then, has achieved excellent results, with over 600 boats (from 2,10 m to 65 m long), 103 sailing boats, 43 multi-hulls and 45 second-hand boats (from 22m to 65m long). In 2017, were presented, also, 214 between new boats and yachts.
Some information.
The boat show will be located in the Vieux Port of Cannes and in Port Pierre Canto and it will be open daily from 10.00 to 19.00. Obviously, with the exception of Sunday that it will close at 18.00 hours. Also, Friday 14 September, it will be possible to admire the festival even at night, till 22.00. This year, the Vieux Port will welcome to many prestigious unit, directly by the greatest international shipyards. Port Canto will be dedicated to the large second-hand yachts. Here, brokers and charter companies will guide the visitors in their decision to purchase, sell or rent yachts. In fact, there will be about 50 yachts present ranging from 22 to 65 meters. Owners, prospective buyers, enthusiasts and professionals of yachting will have the opportunity to see all the different boats present, including some exclusive preview. Who are the exhibitors?
Each year, has established itself as the leading in-water boat show in Europe and one of the largest in the world. It is home to a large number of exhibitors (see the list). Also, located inside the Palais des Festivals, visitors will discover the Luxury Gallery with its elegant scenography from their arrival by the main entrance of the show. This space will be dedicated to luxury, crafts and lifestyle. Here exhibitors and high-end brands will have the opportunity to make themselves known to an international audience of demanding visitors and professionals gathered together around their passions.
