First of all it is essential to acquire the necessary tools. Which one do you choose? Here are two types of tools for threaded inserts:

- Hydro pneumatic tool

You must follow these steps for a correct installation of this type of inserts:
- Drill the sheet metal
- Screw the insert in the tool
- Put the insert into the hole
- Assemble the insert

In addition, the insert can be produced with different materials such as:
- stainless steel (A2 or A4)
- steel white zinc plated Cr III
- aluminium
