Today’s post covers new stainless steel hexalobular socket (TX) pan head chipboard screws, full thread. In recent months, many of our customers have requested these type of screws. So we decided to extend the range of this article. And give a little more detail in this post.


What types of wood are suitable for the chipboard screws?

This type of screw (see art. 9112) is particularly suitable for softwoods or chipboards after pilot holes (besides being ideal for fiberglass).

 

Some technical specification.

Our screws (see art. 9112) are made of stainless steel and they are not pre-treated with Gleitmo. Their head is ideal when the screw must not drown in the surface. Talk about pilot holes.

Before screwing this type of screw needs a pilot hole. But what are the holes that you use for wood? Here is an explanatory table. Remember, however, that these data may change depending on the wood that being drilled.
