Modern buildings are often built with smaller beams, with more structural resistance. The anchorage lines becomes then fundamental: anchorage systems can be installed on roofs to ensure workers stability and security. The anchor lines market, to keep up with the pecularities of modern buildings, has always new and interesting solutions.

New anchor lines are characterized by thin shapes for smaller bases (e.g. 107 mm). These solutions secure access and transit on the cover, in accordance with the aesthetics of the structure.

The innovation mainly concerns the conformation that minimizes the load exerted on anchors. How is this possible? Thanks to an eyelet (crescent-shaped) wherein is fixed a clamping pin. This helps to dissipate the energy generate in case of fall of the worker. The component of these fall-arrester systems can be realized both in galvanized steel and in stainless steel. The latter will clearly ensure a greater durability.

The installation of the fall-arrester systems must be in accordance with the regulations for safety reasons. these measures require:

  • Check the fixing (pay attention to the correct sizing of the anchor being used)
  • Assembly and anchoring test (by a tractive test)

In the long term, for reduction of energy consumption we usually chose the class A for house roofing. The innovations of the fall-arrester systems must adapt to these premises. The anchor lines are made with thermal cutting to reduce to a minimum the dispersion of heat in this type of high energy cover. These anchoring devices are externally made in AISI stainless steel.
